Briley's Favorite Toy

John and I thought we'd try and catch some time at the pool after church. The childcare closed early, so Briley got to take her first trip to the pool. We weren't prepared with a swimsuit, so we let her wear her bloomers and put her feet in as we sat on the side. She LOVED it!

Briley and Annie Time!

Two dads, two girls... As you can tell, John and Wes have traded daughters for this picture.

Annie has abandoned her paci and Briley thinking..."ummm, Annie, could you hand me that?"

Sweet little girls!! We think Briley might be heavier, but the girls are pretty much the same size exactly. They are just 10 days apart.

Well, the good news is that Briley got to take a bath at Gigi and Grandad's house. The bad news is that it wasn't exactly planned, so we didn't have pajamas. So, this sweet little girl got swaddled up in her car seat (with a diaper of course) and off to home we went!

How to bathe the Briley

STEP 1: Warm her up with the hairdryer

STEP 2: Take her clothes off and enjoy a very happy Briley

STEP 3: Run warm water, put Briley in!

STEP 4: Generally we'd do the whole soap/shampoo thing in her bath, but since we were at Grandad and Gigi's house, we had to make our own bathtub with lots of fluffy towels. Briley was so relaxed and it was obvious she didn't mind the change.

STEP 5: Dry off the baby, have fun with the once again very happy baby, apply lotion, re-diaper, and dress. Cuddle, feeed, and put to sleep the clean, sweet little girl.
